I have more confidence in the drops than on top. For road I always ride in the drops when getting nervous in a racing bunch or technical decents or shap corners. Same for gravel, when things get "busy" I'm in the drops. I guess not liking the drops is a "mtb thing"...😜 Sê maar net... cheers julle🤣

It's easy to install Di2. It's not so easy to install Di2 rattle free... Take it for a spin before you pay for the installation

From my experience any mechanical groupset is good ...but performance starts to fade once you go internal cabling ~ specially one-piece bar and stem with extreme cable bents. Shimano semi wireless groupsets makes more sense (in my opinion) than all wireless. Once a groupset is installed on the frame, wireless only adds issues such as battery contact points / pins not connecting ; extra heavy battery on front derailleur that looks ugly and limit tire clearance and hassle to charge two batteries. By removing batteries every time to charge it's just a matter of time before something will wear out or clip break off or get lost. a wireless groupset is a once of "benefit" to the person assembling the bike and adds no benefit to riding the bike 🙃 Sadly, Shimano already started to make wireless groupsets...

I while back I wanted to paint a helmet... Friend told me of a place that does hydro dipping... Took the helmet to them. It came out crap. The polystyrene part looked terrible with the dipping . So the guy tried to remove it with some toxic chemicals.... It ate away the polystyrene... So he took the initiative to rebuild the the damaged polystyrene sections with body filling potty... When I received the helmet back it weighted like 5kg...👀 Nice Giro helmet m@er toe...🥲 Morel of the story : be careful who you choose to do the job. It's much more difficult that it looks... .

Just be careful as not all Shimano 10 speed road shifters share the same pull ratio. external cable ( 5600 and 666 series) differs from 5700 and 6700 series. 4700 (newer Tiagra) = same ratio as 11 speed

105 5600 sieres. (10 speed) dating 2005. Had a double click. With cable tension you could used it with a 3 by crank at the front or 2x (increased cable tension) and then use the second click for trimming . Not a botch but per Shimano specs. Yes. Done it myself when the groupset was released back in the day ( on a few of my bikes) 🤷‍♂️

I add more value to a car's year model than a bicycle. The majority of secondhand bikes are upgraded / downgraded from stock models anyway (wheels / groupsets finishing kits etc. Frames change shapes every three to four years with only the paint changing every year.🤷‍♂️
