Sram stop to produce them to force everybody to go 12 speed... I might have a used one, but not sure if will take a new chain / or even an other used chain... You can still get third party cassettes on AliExpress. But usually they are 42t or bigger, so your Ultegra rear derailleur might not like it.

Zipps are hookless... will this be of any concern with choice of gravel tyres?

A while back there was a threat of the importance of servicing the bike at an "authorized" dealer yearly not to void the "warrantee". Scott was lucky to get out of the warrantee claim as it was not "serviced". Any experiences if this is applicable for these entry level gravel bikes as well? 🤔

There are many apps to use with a smart trainer, but Zwift appears to be the most popular. Sadly, after their recent price increase my monthly premium last month was R444. 😔

I have two addresses on AliExpress One my South African address (street address Bloemfontein) and the other an address in Singapore that I use for Aramex Global shopper. All my purchases I use the Aramex address and always get the items in like 3 to 4 weeks ... at a premium $$. But still better to use than the local post office... Unfortunately, with my last purchase I accidently used the SA address in error. When I realized that, I contacted the seller, but it was too late to change the address again. So, I made peace with it and wrote the purchase off, as I would never see it... But to my surprise on the tracking detail on AliExpress a local tracking number was populated. When I entered the local tracing number on the "track my parcel" function on the SAPO app it shows as follow: 30.5.2024 Jet park speed services 31.5.2024 Jet park speed services 04.6.2024 Jet park speed services BLOEMFONTEIN Still not sure if I ever will receive it? Anybody has experience with Speed Services (SAPO) and how customs duties etc. paying works?🤔

Direct mount rim b r a k e s are better because they can accommodate bigger / wider tyres. I would definitely only look at direct mount frames, and also avoid any bike with a rear b r a k e calliper located under the bottom bracket.

never thought of it like this. (with good reason...) So, people on Zwift only for the "game" "to control the avatar" They might even have an electric drill connected to the bb that all their focus can be to control the avatar/ steering and sight scenery. (even an e bike ?🤷‍♂️) There might even be ways to "ride" just sitting on the couch 😀 I am a Zwifter since it was in Beta phase and always thought of it as a training tool. (Free ride ; group rides , work outs; group work outs; races meet ups etc.) all to gain some sort of fitness gain - any time you want and in all weather conditions. Today is Monday Frosty not Friday!!🙃

Had a great ride. Learned my lesson from last year : not to hook up with the first bunch (to be dropped after 3hours) and then the mountain still come.... This year I rode well inside my limits and finished strong. 6h58 for me and enjoyed every moment

Have mine for quite a while now. Steering is nice. Specially in Zwift races and team time trails (if the rest of the team (who do not have steering) allow me to use it...)🙃. Now waiting for the firmware update on the Kickr 5 to enable virtual shifting...😐 But kickr 5 was also last in line for the firmware update for "Race mode" when using the 'Direct connect" Virtual shifting currently only available for the Core and Kickr 6 as far as I understand.

same happened to me on Ride for Sight...😪 Don't think there is a way to correct it
