  1. Top 10 everyday, kudo's to them. Also wonder about those punctures.
  2. Well done to Ari and Annika. Ascendis remains my favorite but I like the competition at the ladies' race sharp end.
  3. What I really like about all this conversation is the varied opinions and the response to them depending who you "think" you know...... Love it! Anyway.....this is a long race and lots will still change. It is good for the race if it is exciting.
  4. Happy Birthday Andrew. I agree with your comments. Just wondering if Ariane is in good form? Feels like she has been "off" over the last couple of races. I do not know the other contenders at all but I wonder if we are not in for a surprise in the woman's category?
  5. WoW....was looking for trails in Kroonstad and bumped into this thread. Now 5 years later I ask the same question.......anybody out there riding a mountainbike in Kroonstad?
  6. Very interesting......the cynic in me...... Anyhow....what about Philip Buys stepping in on the Scott team? Will be good to watch them race though.
  7. Agree. https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/175689-giant-revel-x0-29er-sold/ The above add keeps hanging around but sold quite a while ago. Why?
  8. Yip, droewors makes a great companion and my girlfriend makes us a nut mix with some salt that really makes the ride yummy.
  9. Thanks for the feedback. I have stuck to it and I started feeling very good on the bike over the last 2 weeks. Definitely worth it. Still working on upping the fat intake but I really enjoy the LCHF journey. I can FEEL the benefits.
  10. Thanks, only picked up the thread again today. Will definitely give it a go...
  11. What I do not follow is that CL gave this PR spin yesterday, still there is no detail as to who was the riders doing the pushing? Did they apologize or did CL?
  12. Entered the 75 year and ended up doing 82 odd. I felt it!
  13. Klapperkop is great training but I have not been there in 15 months due to safety concerns. I find 2 laps at Avianto or the yellow + red loop at Heia to be good training. Thaba Trials will also offer good technical climbs/training.
  14. Good on you...cannot agree more.
  15. Looking to buy a bike on the Hub so this thread was very helpful. I realize the buyer and the seller both have an equal amount of input/contribution to the ethics and successful conclusion of any transaction. As a potential buyer I need to remember that in life, you get what you give. As someone posted....die wiel draai..... Now to find that bike...
  16. What happened to "turn the other cheek" or will it be an eye for an eye?
  17. When is the next one? I missed this one but am subscribed to the news letter. Automatic entry?
  18. Loved the article and the insight. The Pro journey is the human condition....I like that. Good luck to Podium and the athletes.
  19. Silly question, are these shoes gender specific?
  20. For the same reason that SAB sponsors the "Don't Drink and Drive Campaigns". It looks good........
