  2. That is a h3ll of a ride you planning! Do the full SBR loop a few times first before incorporating it into other routes.

And what bike do you suggest? Let me guess............hmmmmmm. It can't be a Bianchi because a Raleigh is faster than that.
  6. ChrisH, this is, um, a cycling forum. We expect that sort of behavoir from runners. Doesn't surprise us. But from cyclists????? BAD behavior!!!

Ok. So I take your wheels and give you Kieran's wheels? Works for me! My current ones are about 1550g. The EA90SLX is 1398g. So either I get a new set of race wheels or cheap ones and get a PT. Or a Quarq or SRM power meter.

Thanks. Which ones? And some other power meter like Quarq or SRM?

Bikemonster, do I have to spell it out?? The "any ideas/suggestions" part obviously refers to the paragraph above it. But specially for you I will add this: Should I get new wheels and if so which ones? And why should I get those which are suggested?

I currently use the Easton EA90 Aero wheels for both training and racing. There are reasonably lighter and also slightly deep. A good compromise between lightweight and aero I think. I am thinking about getting either getting the Easton EA90SLX for race wheels and still use the EA90 Aero's as training and so race wheels or use the EA90 Aero's as race wheels and get some cheaper training wheels with possibly a Powertap. Any ideas/suggestions?
  14. Looks great!!!
  15. So where did the oke actually leave his disposed waste? And what was the issue between Andrew and Graeme?
  16. Come to JHB and go to SBR. But you have to ride up a few hills to get to the top of the awesome descent. And then ride about 50km odd to get back to the top.
  17. I agree with Mampara! I saw on tv Richard Hammond tried to ramp a bike with a wooden wheel. Didn't work too well!
  18. Aaaahhhh! Seeding! Not the first and not the last thread dedicated to it! Nobody knows "what gives". It has never made any sense to anybody!
  19. Oviaaaaaasly not visited Africa yet. New UCI rule. Rule 1.5.2.5.6.8 Thou Shalt not crappeth or project any projectile out on the tarrith. A minimum distance of 1.5 meters away from the tarrith will be a requirement. No showing of any bush in the bush and if there is not bush to hide the bush thou shalt be limited to 3meters away as a minimum requirement.
  20. I hope not; I haven't laughed so much in one day for a long time. Same here! And they say there is a Hub Meltdown causing a recession in postings! We have had the Turd Thread, the Squishy Thingy Thread, the Bru Jules Thread (not you, the other one), the Fish Tank Swap Thread and I'm sure some other threads as well.
  21. Just go ride and ride and ride. The ride some more! I think Cyclelab also have some beginners clinics.
  22. Yummy.
