That is not great behaviour and most likely not even a hubber. But it is not only cyclists. All road user including runners. Just this week dad was on his way to work and passing Ferndale High School when a huge group of runners were running towards him. None of then made any attempt to move to the side. He had to drive into the oncoming lane to pass them. So it is not just some cyclists with bad attitudes but runners as well and motorists. Everyone needs to change their attitudes.

Yeah, I was cross about that as well. And there were about four other channels showing soccer so it is not like they needed to show another channel of soccer. We have a huge growth of cycling in SA and get minimal tv coverage as it is so why cut it out even more? What are they going to do with the Paris-Roubaix coverage? That is my favourite race to watch on tv. Have any of you seen them show an advert when there is 3km to go of a race? They good at that as well. Protest ride to DSTV??????????????????

That is very short sighted of the supplier. By supplying you they could make some extra income which is a good thing given the current financial situation as well as CWC/CRC competition. One would think that they would take whatever business they can get their hands on.

We can organise a protest ride at one of the stadiums during the world cup. Also do a sit down and block the entrance to the stadium. We can even get tv and media coverage then!

Yeah, unfortunately one has to behave like that to get things done. Be nice and nothing gets done! Throw your toys and it all gets done quick quick.

It is a tragedy and must show the respect due. Having said that we also can't live with our eyes shielded to reality. Life consists of the good and the bad, the positive and the negative and combined they form reality. All possible angles of a situation need to be looked at and discussed. Of course the discussion should be conducted in a proper and respectful manner with reality as the focus. Good and bad should be mentioned.
