  1. That looks like a beast! Happy ripping dude!
  2. Where'd you find that? Been keeping an eye out but haven't had any luck yet
  3. That sounds like it's gonna be a lot of fun! Please post some pics for me to drool over when she's built up
  4. Nice bike dude! Love the murdered out look!
  5. Damn, that is looking real good! Enjoy that beast!
  6. Was finally able to complete this build of a new to me Santa Cruz Chameleon, old school 26" version. Thanks to Grease_Monkey for helping me out with a 30mm stack height stem and of course a big thanks to Recycles for hooking me up with an awesome deal on the frame! I wanted to take the all important "bike on couch pic" but my girlfriend was home and I really want to keep the bike so this will have to do!
  7. Nice, good to hear some real world results with this!
  8. I saw a YouTube video of a guy that put a bit of glitter in with the stans to make it a bit "thicker" and to help seal slightly larger punctures. Haven't tried it myself but maybe worth a go. If it doesn't work at least it will be prettier when your tyre spews it out all over you and the bike.
  9. You should try the new Bell Super 3R, can't get hurt feelings while looking so badass! Seriously though, I laughed at this. Also, don't be a donut, wear your helmet!
  10. Ok bro, was just trying to let mongooser know that Strava is for more than just posting times. Thought it would be more useful than other hubbers, not yourself, calling a 14 year old a "box"
  11. Not sure if you're confirming that you are indeed hungover or giving me stick for my explanation on Strava…
  12. Dude, don't let these guys calling you a "box" put you off. They probably just hungover from partying a bit too hard last night. Strava is quite a rad tool, you can use it for more than just posting times. If you log in with your PC you can upload each of your bikes components and it tracks the km's that you put on each. That way you can check to see which brand / model of consumables (cassette, chain, tyres etc...) gives you the best value for money and you can base future purchases on that.
  13. Lucky fish !
  14. In Langebaan for the weekend. First time I have ridden trails in a golf estate. Edit courtesy of autocorrect
  15. How did I not even know about this ? I would pay the R50 entrance just to hit that wall ride a few times
  16. Well that's good and bad news…
  17. Will that 1x trigger work with a giant post ? The giant switch is seriously lacking in design and I would love to replace it with that "shifter" like trigger
  18. Anyone know if lyne sells the switch loose ? It looks far nicer than the one my giant post came with
  19. That's one hell of a single speed bike !
  20. Long awaited pedal upgrade
  21. Damn, you just scored a sweet deal ! Enjoy and preach that flat pedal gospel bro
  22. My bike hasn't taken me anywhere in a week, sick as a dog. Oh wait, I think there is a thread for that…
  23. I have a set of the giant flats and for the price they pretty good. Mine have taken quite a beating and still run smooth but if I was you and had the R1500 limit I would go for the saints. Not only do they look really good but I have only heard good things. Otherwise if you a fan of blue and they still available have a look at these https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/191035-hope-f20-flat-pedals/
