Being new to the whole disk brake thing I need a few questions answered. I bought a Bianchi around 8months ago. Since then I have maybe done +- 1600km. I noticed on todays ride that the rear brakes are not braking aswell as they should be. They are making a heck of a noise almost like when they get wet. So my question is: Are the pads finished? What is the km you get off a set of pads? How do you adjust the pads? as the brake lever seems to almost touch the handle bar now

Its been proven shaving your legs does not make you ride faster. its apparently got to do with hygiene if you fall the hairs dont go into the wound and make it "septic". So my thinking is when you fall chances are very high your arm is goingto also be grazed when you hit the deck. Anybody got a answer of why you dont shave your arms?

What is the use of having a restaurant if customers cant eat there? Met my family after a ride in Groenies for breakfast this morning as we do from time to time. Got there at 08:45 just to be told they only open at 10:00. My wife being a diabetic needs to eat before 09:00 so she does not go "LOW". When and why would they change their times? This is not the first time I have been dissapointed by them. In August I had a international VIP client I booked to take him to Moyos for a traditional African meal. When we got there, the waitress says to me they are under staffed and when we order it will take upto an hour and a half before we get our food. Thats it, no more supporting this restaurant.Moyos you pissed me off... go get stuffed!!!!

Went for a ride at Groenies this morning. Was great even though I have not been on the saddle in 2 weeks(work work work). Tried out a new USN product and had energy through out the ride. Feel good after the ride.

its not only in todays world. I remember hitting the back of a vehicle on my bike when I was around 14 years old(20 years ago) on a busy road in Durbanville. This is a really uneasy topic. Part of me says my family should leave this country and move to where my kids and myself can cycle without looking left and right into bushes and part of me says its my country why should I leave. The reality is this is goingto get worse before it gets better. I personally think this is only the beginning before the other thugs figure out this easy money.
