  1. For a little person you want less bike. A 29er is a lot more bike than a 26er. I would go with a 26er with a good wide handlebar. 26ers are not from the past they are just out of fashion.
  2. Are you sure you are "munching" grass ??
  3. I like that !!
  4. And there is your problem. Simple !! Don't start again. Get over yourself first. If you don't enjoy or love cycling then just don't. Why would you do that? BUT The benefits of cycling is myriad. Do it for the love of it and the rest will follow. (65yrs going for argus 30 and an avid mountain goat. Last argus 3h20 come join me)
  5. You can afford popcorn ??
  6. .
  7. Please be aware for snakes - it's that time of the year. Someone on a hiking group posted video of THREE different puffies in Jonkershoek and they were large and on the trail. Puffies love to lie in the middle of a path where they get the full sun.

  9. Warning !!! Do not go to this page !!! https://www.facebook.com/BigJetTV
  10. Did you replace the outer housing when you replaced the cable ?
  11. How much do you weigh?
  12. I think it has to be fenced and gated especially if it has been used as a thoroughfare for some time.
  13. Motors can be repaired and fairly cost effectively.
  14. Corrected !?!
  15. It may click (mechanical) but does not mean that the signal is getting to the control board. I have a similar issue - battery fine controller fine all mechanics fine so I'm about to remove the pickups and have Centurian check them. There are two sensors one on the rail and one on the motor. If you remove the control board Centurion will check it for you for gratis.
  16. It only took six posts !! On form!
  17. It would be worth joining a club just for the experience. Don't wait till 2022 just do it in 2021
  18. The comments were of this world - amazing.
  19. I am always amazed at how little litter is left by mbikers in the Tokai area.
  20. Last resort might be Bridge Cycles here in Cape Town - If they don't have it no-one will. You need to talk to the woman in the store (I forget her name but she knows her stuff)
  21. You get water into your bearings - toast. The seals on bearings are not waterproof seal but dust seal that would also keep out mud but not water at pressure. I may use a hose pipe but not with my finger restricting the end. That GCN video was just poorly done and proves nothing. Bottom bracket is more than likely the safest to do especially when newly packed with grease.
  22. Pressure washer and bicycle do not belong in the same sentence ever.
  23. I think you need to go and stand in the sunshine for a while.
