    The Munga 2020

Two or three Munga's ago one was able to watch the dot's with the satellite maps - a hub member organised it. What happened why can't we have that on the Munga's site?. Far more interesting as you can clearly see the terrain.
  3. 2020?? - you ain't seen nothing yet wait for 2021
  4. I wish !! Tongue firmly in cheek - maybe it should have been in comic sans.
  5. No-one ever had fun on a 26er No-one ever seriously rode a 26er
  6. Just stay as you are. There is a black hole ahead.
  7. Ok But a couple of years ago (and not too long ago) we had some attempted jackings along the stretch from Miller's Point to Smitswinkel and two successful jackings. (Seems after a while we forget about them)
  8. You may not see it as a hotspot yet but reality says it is. Had a puncture there a while ago and a Kommetjie local in a car pulled up next to me and waited till I had repaired the leak. Tells you something.
  9. Simple really. Take the shimano's off !!! Replace with Avids They work - can be serviced - and they tell you they work.
  10. I'm far more stable on a mountain bike on the road than a road bike. Geometry alone makes a big difference.
  11. And I thought it was all about gearing ?!
  12. Yes it could have ended badly. And no it is not funny. But reality says you are not going to get assault to stick.
  13. Puffies are Lazy but don't get him riled up - moves like a possessed steam train.
  14. I'd rather be a pussie !!!
  15. Ok you've just lost me. Long lasting weed too.
  16. I discovered yesterday how important saddle position is. Changed to a dropper post and forgot to measure saddle angle and position. Was perfectly comfortable before and had major issues after (fixed now) I would venture to say that with many uncomfortable saddles it is actually the position and not the saddle. The slightest difference in angle and distance from the stem affects comfort. Also your saddle height.
  17. Do you know how stupidly fast these clumsy looking creatures are? Their strike speed is even more stupid.
  18. If I could find good quality "unbranded" clothing they would have my buck - hate being a walking billboard. Goes for all clothing. Branding often doubles the price. Used to buy from Reject King in Woodstock
  19. Do yourself a favour and have a look at Giant's flat pedals. Best bang for buck - good quality and rugged.
  20. Noooo !! But there will always be one. Do you enjoy it ??
  21. That has been happening on actual rides for a very long time. People use their phone and their device(garmin etc) and upload both to Strava and "double" everything.
  22. Even the summit version is not what it was. Waste of time. Now that Zwift is accepted on Strava nobody goes out to ride as all Swift data is allowed on Strava and is registered on challenges. Riders getting phenomenal distance and elevation and some doing up to 170 rides for the month. Most of the top positions on leaderboards are there because of Zwift. By all means have Zwift leaderboards but don't mix with actual rubber on the road rides. Would never pay for Summit.
  23. Yah but the thing is you need skills to ride trails.
  24. ???? (Could be the start of a whole new fred)
