  1. Eich !! That's really a pity - satellite view just made it so much more real.
  2. Ok so two things please. On trackleaders.com how can I get onto satelite view. Or is there another app. And could someone give us the real names of the hubbers that are participating please.
  3. Unroll your extension cord !!! Prevents heat build up in chord when using a machine that draws a fair amount of power especially with today's thin chords. With heat the resistance increases in chord and your machine struggles to get the power it needs and you damage the machine not so much the lead. Use as short a lead as possible. Make your own leads using 2.5 gauge wire and not the 1.5 junk most chords are made of. Electrician told me not to use weedeater chord with heavy duty machines just a bad idea. With the cost of machines today it is not worth using the incorrect cheap chords.
  4. Must be this one - me thinks.
  5. Have you gone to see the ticker doc yet. Don't put it off.
  6. If bitten. Try to id the snake. Remain as calm as possible. Get to a hospital.
  7. Newby needs some patience - it's Sunday pm all chilling. Buy the Cannondale.
  8. I hate it when guys post this one - seriously - it wastes an enormous amount of time. Just stop it - don't do it.
  9. So what does that produce ??? Scooter - e-bike or what ??
  10. Or you could get mugged for a Makro bike because it has a Cannondale sticker on it - bummer !!
  11. That was my idea initially as I can miter and still use loose tenons but the two bankies go next to each other for use with a table so I chose to cut the tops from one plank so the one runs into the other and looks like one plank. As they are pictured one does not notice that.
  12. I wonder if I can pre-order
  13. Just a little weekend job. French Oak with Woodoc 10. Mortice and loose tenon joints.
  14. Yes - Woodoc has one and there are others but somehow not the same quality as in US. They somehow do not want to penetrate the wood properly and some of them are not clear but a bit opaque. Tested the Woodoc one on a job today and then opted for Woodoc 10 instead. Rystix is solvent based and not a polyurethane. They do have a water based one. Solvent based still seems to be tougher and often a superior finish. I often use use Woodoc - 1st coat liberally aplied with brush and all subsequent coats are applied with a cloth pad (small) made from an OLD t-shirt and fairly thinly. The more coats the more amazing the luster.
  15. I would go for the linseed option but it really is a bad idea as no-one is going to re-apply it as often as it needs to be done - a GIVEN. Woodoc makes an outdoor product that I would use. Rystix is also a briliant product but does not come in a clear clear (you figure it out)
  16. He forgot he was riding a bicycle and not a motorbike.
  17. .
  18. This ^^^ I would however drill a 14mm hole through the pole where the concrete is and put a 12mm piece of rebar through it that sticks out about 80mm on each side.( you could also just bang in 2 or 3 five inch nails)
  19. Why is this fred still around ??
  20. How did that snoek turn out ??
  21. You've been staring at this picture - hoping. That's futility !!
  22. You want a Jacobs chuck. Try Strand Hardware in PE
  23. Simple answer - Nope !
  24. Would not buy Ryobi nor Bosch green range. The only thing in Ryobi's favour is that when it breaks you toss it and buy a new one - you can do that 3x's for the price of a decent tool.
  25. I know for a fact that pallet wood is treated with pesticides and are certified that they are even local ones Yes not all.
