    RIFLE

I will definitely take a look at the 6.5 PRC. Its uses a bigger case than the 6.5 creedmoor and shoots about 180fps faster which might be a concern for barrel life but apparently its not so bad. Its a new caliber so you wont find ammo of the shelf, but it wont concern me as I will reload myself. I also looked at the 300WM but it will be more expensive to reload and recoil is more.
  4. All the best for tomorrow, if I'm not mistaken your appointment is tomorrow?

    RIFLE

Beautiful rifle and nice story behind it. Amazing what they did at the time. That rifle must be priceless.
  6. Just keep fighting!! Dont give up! And the other tumors?
  7. Hi Cois, thinking of you today. I hope you get good news!

    RIFLE

Very nice, if I may ask, where did you get this? I'm also in the market for a chassis system.
  9. Day one and you are almost on target! Now you can focus more on getting better. The last thing you want is to worry about bills.
  10. Hi Cois, I'm glad to see that you are positive and fighting. If you dont mind please pm me your banking details I would like to make a contribution for your bills. Cheers
  11. Does everyone ride the same lap? It looks like Luke Moir had the fastest splits on the day?
  12. I'm 100% with you it would be impossible for them to know the difference, I was more thinking in terms of an inside job.
  13. Every year at this race bikes are getting stolen. I wonder if they get the same security guards each year?
  14. Yes agree and everything on those bikes are pretty much as light as can be but the weight penalty comes from the Lefty. The carbon version I think weigh 1765g. They are super stiff and by far the nicest suspension I ever used but they are not that light compared to other conventional forks that are in the region of 1.4kg.
  15. I recently start using trainerroad, I like it. They give you a nice structured training program and it does motivate me to get on the IDT. I think you can get a demo. I got it for a month and after that I subscribed for a year. Oh and it makes you suffer!! I'm using it with my iphone and smart trainer.
  16. Its a nice event, I did it three years ago when all three days started at Wittedrift.
  17. I dont know what Adelheid was thinking opening such a big gap on Ariane. At one stage `i think the gap was at least a 100m. I'm sure they could have ride much faster had she not done that and worked together.

    The Classics

Where are you watching it? Or were do you get the updates from?
  19. Barry's status on Whatsapp: I was screaming into the canyon/At the moment of my death/The echo I created/Outlasted my last breath.
  20. That is insane! But I guess for some people the reduced friction is worth the cost. Not for me though. Very nice bike!!!
  21. That is what I thought, the threads must be alu and the part that touches the inside of the handlebar must be more grippy like rubber perhaps. Will cost more but at least it will work. It is still a great idea.
  22. Just bought one today, fit it in the handlebar once and I stripped the plastic threads on the one side, could not agree more with your last statement.
  23. Interesting, a chain that can only be ridden for 320km. Edit: I see after the 320km the special coating is off.
  24. Why do you have the water bottle on the seatpost? Looking to get the same bike.
