  1. you spot on though Agent these guys get paid top dollar to be seen wearing these things and the guy on the street things well if he is wearing it, it must work! speaking about hair plugs .. do you remember an advert for hair studio where a woman said her husband gave her a choice of a overseas holiday or a treatment from hair studio? think that might give you an idea what these treatments cost!! man i must say if i had the money maybe i would consider it just to feel the hair blowing in my face one last time
  2. hawk i got a trion z necklace after a shoulder op a few years back and dont bother waisting your money! but then again it must work because Ernie els wears it mind you maybe thats why he hasnt won anything lately
  6. cannondale really know what to do with aluminium! they get weights that many carbon fibre bikes can only dream off! then throw in a lifetime gaurentee and you got one hell of a combo
  7. i guess bruma would be a no no.... unless you want to glo in the dark what is the dam out west? rodepoort area? think there was a serial killer named after the dam ??
  8. cactus im speaking under correction but if i remember correctly it is 20k their 2011 line up is awesome
  9. if you think germiston was bad you should have seen potch 2009! they had dropped the water level to fix the dam wall it was a mudfest of note! Garfield one thing to remember is water doesnt have to be clear to be safe to swim in! and the opposite is true too just becasue water is clear/sparkling doesnt make it safe, IMO i would rather swim in water that gets tested regulary than water that just looks clean, i cant think of any other place to have an open swim in the JHB area unless you want to travel south down to the vaal but then boats become an issue
  10. nice whip Agent!! dont know why but i for some reason pictured you on something like this
  11. actually germiston lakes water is pretty clean! the energade and the joburg tri series have their swims there and as far as i know there has never been an issue about water quality ( samples are taken before races)
  12. you can have a look at the trek ans scott entry level bikes pretty much the same spec and price as the felts
  13. Grondpad, what about roodeplaat dam? thats in pretoria and is clean! the energade and sasolcross always have a race there

  17. most bolt and nut suppliers should be able to help you
  18. there seems to be alot of discussion about the various trail shoes have any of you tried the new asics trail running shoes? with their running heritage they should be good. i have tried alot of different trail shoes and found the following: new balance: very comfy probably the best ive tried Nike: too flexible for trail running no real toe protection Hitec: very robust, great in the wet, very hard midsole ( dont think you still get them?) adidas: very hard sole not good in the wet solomons: narrow dont fit my feet well... feet go dead after awhile inov8: next choice Asics: i use asics running shoes so i will be trying their trail shoes
  19. damn right
  20. somehow i dont think this is bike related! to get sudden pain a week after yuor last ride?? doesnt sound right to me! maybe you tweaked your knee somehow and didnt realise it? i would say have a go on the bike and see how it feels if it gets worse go see the kwak
  21. not even close to hardcore..... i leave that to dangle and the boys! but the ultra tri is a half iron man distance so the xterra would be a good gauge as to how ready i would be for it.
  22. hopefully be doing the big one... good training for the ultra tri there in feb
  23. the sixty is a two lapper so its your call as to the distance but i assure you if you do the 30 or the 60 you wont be disappointed
  24. hey a fellow vaalie! im also in vanderbijlpark! if the pain continues i would suggest having it looked at by your GP who will then recommend the appropriate action wich would probably be one of three things, 1. specialist ( i suggest Dr Aukamp in vanderbijlpark)2. Physio or 3 a biokinetikist recommend Michael dont recall is surname but i have his number if you would need it...... good luck!! hope you feel better soon
  25. i would seriously recommend that you do the race if you gonna be in the area! the info is under the events section! i personally love the race... there is a section of single track next to the vaal river that will blow your mind!
