  1. This has gone off topic. Personal attacks and comparing supplements to KFC and MacD's. When you decided to use social media as a platform, you need to accept it is the public domain. It has toppled governments, dictators and regimes this year alone. As an ethical or moral debate, the will never be a winner in this discussion. Everybody is their own guide as to what is acceptable, and it is unlikely to be changed. Dangle, you have the right to give your kid anything you want. You are an adult and can make informed decisions. Nobody can tell you otherwise. TH, has the opportunity to engage anybody and question them. He has the ability to highlight issues and problems as he sees fit. If he wants to create awareness around something he is welcome to do. Nobody should question his integrity over this. He has played open cards. The questions is, where is the original protagonist in this debate? Albe, where are you?
  2. USN on 702 today. Looking forward to hearing what they say
  3. Changed from 80 - 300m depending on the terrain. Almost missed that sneaky turn off as well.
  4. Our team of riders has had some deserters and we are in need of a domestique or two. Looking for a 7-8 hr ride
  5. Let us hope V
  6. Despite what is in it and the controls at the lab etc. My issue is the psychology of giving a kid a nutritional shake to make/help a kid perform, as per the label. (Summarized) Marketing a product like this changes it's role from being for malnourished kids to performance and this takes it into the Lance realm. I'm not comfortable with this and I don't have kids. What kind of behaviour are we condoning in our future champs?
  7. You guys need to learn to use your GPS's. 228.5km across the 3 members of our team. Rich, better start practicing for Portugal next year bud. Almost as tough as Non-stop Sani. If a 63yo geriatric can finish this well inside the cut off, what is everybody else's excuse. Great effort by everybody that started. Kudos to those that finished.
  8. Bugger, my foot was green on Sunday morning!
  9. You too?
  10. Sorry I'm missing it. JC show dem, show dem, show dem. B batchers. FRIB

    Wild Coast rides

PM me if you want routes. I can send you garmin files. Really awesome riding between Hole in the Wall and Haven. The Wild Ride was two weeks ago and the reports where brilliant beaches to ride on. Otherwise just ride the cattle tracks and explore, the riding is better towards Haven.
  12. Pancake flat compared. No real hills at all.
  13. Not sure it is in the rules to arrive at SASSC without a hangover
  14. Cool, he must be very strong. Lost 15min at the 47km mark, chain ring bolts came out. I fixed it with some wire. Quite frustrating. Ran a 32/16 again and battled on the flats but it was good for the climbs. Who was yours? Definitely in for CM. I'll bring the OB's
  15. They guy that won the 70km SS did so from G batch and has got no results in SA SEEDING. Interesting that.
  16. Great night out. Some photos on twitter @edgartheathlete
  17. I really like my Kask's, I have the vertigo and mojito. Both are really comfortable.
  18. Here the odds from the Voltbet site that i use. https://www.voltbet.com/Sports/GetSports/Cycling/Tour%20de%20France/Tournament/1766 I think there will be some good money to be made on the the T5 finishes
  19. I have the Vertigo and really like it. Changed from a Spaz Prevail and i do prefer it. Tried the Mojito on the weekend and also very comfortable and lighter. SKY did just change to the Mojito from the Vertigo. Not that it makes a difference. It did save Cav's pip in the early stage of Giro. I have also crashed hard in mine and got the protection i would expect and got it replaced easily. Had to pay a small replacement fee. Really happy with mine.
  20. Also changed on Friday. Nice work.
  21. What ratio did you run? I was on 32/16 and found that I spun out on the flat and slight down hill sections.
  22. 8-11k for the frame depending. I have one and have been really impressed
  23. The was an article on Bike Radar on her. She has chosen to use the big wheels this year after switching between them last year. She has zero stack and negative 25 deg stem if i remember correctly, also she uses a flipped seat post that allows her to put the seat further forward because she is 5 feet 3 (159cm). Interesting contrast with Shurter (174cm) on the mid size wheels. Watching her round he course on saturday was great. she really handles the bike well and with no fear. If this is her early season form she could deliver on her talent. http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/article/pro-bike-emily-battys-trek-superfly-elite-30569/
  24. I got her bottle this weekend. NEVER going to wash it. She can also ride a little.
  25. You can get from van Galen's to breedts. Fairly easy. While you can ride suikerbosch do that.
