  1. Unlike some of the other magazines that turn one blind eye. I notice one in particular has been very quiet. Nobody asking when RC will be sentenced? Nobody picked up that some top riders haven't done much racing of lately?
  2. Look on KE's IG account time line I doubt the Lance is Theo
  3. Just took then ones that where relevant to the TL. That is not a comprehensive race results list by any means.
  4. 5. SAIDS can only test foreign athletes out of competition if their federation has given SAIDS permission to do so. WADA can test any athlete registered to a National Federation at any point. SAIDS can test who ever they like in competition, but according to CSA that is actually only when you are on your bike.
  6. And they all did it in isolation. They didn't know they others were also doping?
  7. He has deleted his time line already
  8. Might not have to for very long.....
  9. Really? I can't believe it. Is this really true?
  10. Why no mention of Yolande de Villiers? Top 5 last year, previous winner and top 3 at Epic last year? Has she retired?
  11. TimHenman and Jules52 3/4 of the way through their Everesting ride yesterday on NC
  12. Compared to how he does the DH runs, he is going at snails pace. You get a sense of how mental that course is and the dudes that do it. he takes the chicken* run each time and is still shitting himself. *the rest of us in climbing gear and harness sans bike
  13. Hijack on/off Investigation is still ongoing, and there is footage of the original bust that will be showed on DSTV. Now back to the NB thing. This is being handled like ass by all the parties.
  14. Hairy, still nothing other than the BS that CSA spewed yesterday. I'm sure the legal kids are doing their thing etc to make sure that it is handled conveniently correctly. It would be great to have the full story so the speculation could end and we could move forward. Assuming that it is above board, the situation is not helping the dude going forward. i'm sure we will not have to wait much longer ............................................................................................................. ..................................................................................................................................................................
  15. Cool bru, he races for a euro based team that was there at the race. They have support, plus the OEM's are there and offer rider support. Yes, CSA and SASCOC let our athletes down and they have to fund their own way at times. Again, without info it is all speculation. In the end we will see though.
  16. So we have the press statement and it is thinner than the hairs on pro's ball bag. So the speculation and damning continue, it is as bad as News24. Ultimately not good for anybody involved.
  17. He wasn't DQ'd he voluntarily withdrew himself. Why did it take so long to release the statement, and surely his/team mech would have that equipment or does CSA expect our athletes to service their own equipment? I'm sure it is a big misunderstanding and will be cleared up in no time.
  18. Excuse the ignorance: But WTF does soigneur and a mechanic need intl team management experience for? Maybe I'm too much of a cycnic, but this looks like it was written with a specific agenda.
  19. Remember that Farrar has experience and will be a good guiding hand for the debutantes He is also a very popular american and that gets coverage. Along with Serge (Belgian), Steve (British) and a good TT guy. this is all about exposure and results. The green jersey points changes takes any of the teams sprinters out to picture, it does not suit a sagan style approach. white jersey and mountains are the most realistic so Main Cheese and Merhawi are going to make it. Reinie and Jac are good bet for the tough first week. Sbirgali is unlucky IMO to miss the cut, had a great season for the team. Berhane and Youcef are probably going to miss out and that is even with Youcef doing so well. Outside of Bos this is a great squad and it is awesome to see the African contingent in the mix. Thoughts?
  20. Frameset should retail around 35k, so in the same range as the Swift. Might be time to upgrade the Spaz to real bike.
  21. Where did you go this weekend?
  22. Unlikely Word. She will find it tough going on the tech stuff and Joel is fit enough and a strong tech rider.
  23. Looks like a proper route. Looking forward to giving it a go.
  24. Apparently they will be available in about a month. They are very light for the carbon version. The will be doing two widths. The 21mm internal and then a 23mm. that is about all I know from African Cycle Fair
