Gary Did you start this thread just to make us mortals back home very envyous (spelling).

Every time my bike comes back from my lbs near a race track in Midrand it goes like bomb, gear changes smoother than most cyclists legs.

Dealers in South Africa cant afford those cars either.

Thats the only good thing about winter, not having to wax or shave as you can wear leg warmers or long pants.

Rodger You make a very good point, if you read the book "Breaking the chain" by Willie Voet it shows that just about all the riders mentioned in your list doped. Richard Vironque was so juiced up that on one occasion he was injected with water just to satisfy his need for a performance enhancer. Those guys did not do EPO but other things. So back to Miguel hey?????

There are only 2 types of cyclists. Those that ride Cannondales and those that aspire to riding a Cannondale.

Christie you make a good point. How can it be that you can buy the same product from half way round the world and it is still way cheaper than our local shops could ever be even after you have taken shipping, duties and taxes into account. Just proves how the wholesalers are ripping us off.

Not sure it would ever get to the supreme court, however if it does just means that the rest of us would land up paying a premium for the honour of being ripped off even more by the said wholesaler.Seems like the legal folks are in for a even bigger profit paid for by ourselves.
