  1. Yep! And I can give you a dozen Springbok jerseys bought from the dude at the traffic lights...but that also means squat!!!
  2. Riding through Hemel en Aarde to Caledon is also very nice...except for the 14km sand road section Quiet road, nice climbs and then back passed Raka to Stanford and back to Hermanus. As Velouria says the road between Stanford and Hermanus is a bit narrow and no shoulder but, wtf, we are also allowed to use the road, no?
  3. Was also wondering about them since I heard about the crash on the news...glad to hear they are OK! Noche, I hope you will encourage them to become Hubbers (if they aren't already) so they can give as more details of the circumstances surrounding their crash and their recovery... You would think that Giovanni would use all the avenues available (including this forum) to spread the word looking for witnesses to the crash. Come to think of it...CSA et al, are not as in touch with the cycling grassroots as they could be if they used the Hub! Maybe they don't place much value on the opinions expressed here, perhaps regarding most of us as mere "sh!tstirrers" Do they monitor the Hub in the same way that some of our prominent retailers do?
  4. Just got back from holiday and saw this news. So very, very sad...for Estelle, for the family, for the whole cycling community! May the Lord give you strength Estelle, during this very difficult time. Our heartfelt condolences to you and all Gerhard's family and friends. Michael and Melody

  15. Will one of the veteran posters please start a thread with a sticky so we can list the Hubbers who will be doing the Kremetart? Please....
  16. Yep...that's my problem...my wheels have flat spokes. What about adhesive...is there perhaps something I can use?
  17. My Blackburn Delphi's magnet is stripped, so it doesn't stay in place on the spoke...What's the principle behind the technology? Can I use any other magnet, or do I have to go through the whole schlepp of ordering...and waiting...and waiting...?
  18. What nick are you using on your Sportstracker site?
  19. I have 40 rides logged on my Sportstracker site. I have also experimented with it on hikes and car navigation.... It's just so way cool! Easy to use and I can't wait for the N79 to arrive locally! Only thing I hope they have sorted is battery life!!! Lasts about four hours so I obviously didn't log my entire Argus....!
  20. What make are they? Just trying to get an idea of the sizing. Large in Europe is definitely not the same size as large here in SA!
