  3. i got the wheels today ztr alpine rims, double butted spokes, alloy nipples, used ex xt hub and rotor 900g exc tyre crossmarks are 700g should be 1.6kg right dropped 200g nice,it can be done
  4. I am with snip on this one, I think most people are not 100% honest and leave it to the buyer make sure the product is as discribed. some information is not relayed to the buyer. Back to this issue, the buyer must make sure on the day of delivery that the goods are in the condition expected. And in this case a 3rd party has pointed out the issues

  6. I would like to know more about this as well. I have WTB laserdisks with XT hubs. Complete it weights 1.8kg I would like to rebuild ie different spokes and rim to bring it down to about 1.5 or 1.6kg any suggestions

  11. y do guys refer u to pro's when u wanna DIY I know there are paints that require harderner and others don't touch up paint does not I am no expert... I would use the spray can and clear lacquer, of course fine sandpaper to make the paint adhere better chat with the guys at the paint shop

  17. Ok I don't know about yours but my "MAX" is not cast in stone. 188bpm is the max when i am race ready when i am less fit my max is higher. not that i can ride harder or faster, just my hr is higher. as far as the amp is concerned I don't have a 1-11 indication rather a dB indication.

  19. I ride my RD bike about 7 weeks a year, mostly MTB. At first the rd bike was very uncomfortable, still is but with stretching I got used to the position. Now a can ride 3hrs easily. The lower position comes in handy in the wind Although it is difficult to keep it, but it is a option. Where as the flat bar will work your triceps in the lower position, I can’t keep low with the flat bar for long Then there is the many hand positions Some points to consider

I experienced knee/ tendon pain while training for argus last year, i was fit but one last looong ride was too much, you need to rest the knee and trust you did enough training use strapping for the ride it helps. it got me to the end of the argus with no hassels with tendontist i normally rest about 7-10 days then start light training after, 14 days it is sorted

  24. what does peptopro do, will it sustain energy- keep bonking at bay? allow u to ride stonger for longer. prevent that dead feeling in the legs? or does it just aid in recovery
  25. I don't like this rules thing in MTB, rules are for RD's only. only one MTB rule be kind to your fellow trial riders, help fix flats and greet IMO
