Corima has been making Carbon wheelsets since 1987. They are the leaders in Full carbon clincher wheelsets. The 2007 wheels now have a carbon hub and the wheels are 152gr lighter each. This is great wheels and as fast as ZIPP and HED and Easton. Also reasonably priced.

wolverine. Campy does not come in specials, because quality don't come cheap. You can try Solomons or Chris Wilemse for specials but still more expensive than Shimano and i do not think they do kits as such with bar, stem, post, seat, wheels etc.
Thanx for the info Chrissie. The R3 weighs in at only 850gr. No weight limit with a lifetime warranty. Not too shabby hey. And cheaper than the BMC SLC 01 and the F4:13.
CAADman. Cervelo R3 has been rated by Specialized as the best carbon frame in the world after testing 20 of the top carbon frames in the world. F4:13 is a great and beautifull bike but heavy. BMC SLC01 also a great bike and has won the Volvo Engeneering design award in Switserland this year and is very light and stiff. My 2 cents worth. Hope this helps seeing you did not considder these.
RodTi no wheels should be stiff at all. No wheels need to be ridden in. Seems to me the spacers on the axle is not correct or that the hub body is not installed correctly. Take them back to the dealer and have them checked out. Hope it helps.
racman. If you speak to Willie Engelbrecht ask him about Cape cycle system's Westport bike build kits. Comes complete with everything exept the frame. The kits are very well speced and good value for money. They have 105, Ultegra and Dura ace kits. The prices are good. Should be able to get an Ultegra kit at about R 10k. Fizik saddle, FSA bar, stem and post. Wheels probarbly Ksyrium Elite etc. It even includes bar tape.
Hagar. Pro Pilot Bar and stem looks awsome and is very light for their price. Stem is 125gr and bar 225gr. It has a Titanium look and the set wil cost you no more than about R 750.00. My 2 cents worth. Hope it helps.
They are lovely but i still think that Titanium will probarbly be a better bet. More durable. Campy Chorus and Record has Titanium rings and they last like for ever.
Upgrade to FSA Tandem Crank set. The best Tandem cranksets on the market. Cape cycle systems uses them the Cannondale tandems. They started using Truvativ but went back to FSA. Cervelo is the agents for FSA now, but any bike shop should be able to get hold of a set for you. They come in Alloy and Carbon versions. Never heard of an FSA Tandem crank set stripping on the stoker left side. Only my 2c worth. Hope it helps.

Racman only three tandems worth looking at if you are serious about it. Trek Tandem not too shabby but expensive. Ravo from CCS retailing at about R 13 000.00. Good value for money tandem and the the mother of all tandems as voted world wide is the Cannondale. Retailing at about R 25 000.00. Hope it helps.
Cervelo R3 with Campy Chorus or Record. Zipp 404 clinchers due to the wheight. Now there is a super light bike with no limit on wheight with a lifetime warranty.
racman the S-works E5 has a Carbon upper and an alu bottom. Very light. The carbon on top will absorb all the road vibration and the alu bottom is stiff as hell for sprinting and climbing. Size at Morne Bester Cycles is a 54cm. Seems like you are in luck.
