  1. racman. Saw a Specialized S-Works Tarmac E5 at Morne Bester Cycles for R12K. Very nice buy. Best of both worlds like Six 13 and Sytem six 'dales. What size are you looking for.
  2. The bike that should have and could have won the 2007 Epic, but GET THIS " DID NOT" !! WHAT THE ....?
  3. Just put the 9 speed cassette on the wheel. 10sp will not work with 9sp tiagra does not matter how much you modify. If the 9sp cluster does not fit on the wheel with current 10 sp i suggest you upgrade you group.

    2 Grand

Muxman. Morne Bester Cycles has FSA carbon team cranksets on special at R 2K a piece. Theres a nice upgrade if you need one. Contact them on 012 347 8660.
  5. Chris 414 have you looked at the Easton TempestII alu wheelset. Very light and rigid and has a 38mm dish and not too expensive. Unbelievable hubs same as in the carbon wheel. The problem i found with sinnergy is backup. Spares is not always avaiable.
  6. Government has their priorities all wrong once again. The worldcup wiil not make money. At least the Argus and 94.7 does.
  7. Whateva.

Well done Taylorchick. Good luck at the World's. Nochain you can phone me for someone to repair your Zipps or for a quote for new ones. Im sure cycle sure will be paying.
  9. You should speak to Marco at Cycle Tech. He is the importer. Tel 011 4669974.
  10. It was Cape cycle systems but do not import them any longer. Should find out from Orbea dealers if someone still have some in their shops.

    Kuota Frames

Kuota won European bike of the year more than once before. Very stiff responsife frame.
  12. Morne Bester Cycles has the CSC team issue in Zero Stailess Steel for only R 1600.00. Awsome pedals. I use them myself. Float is adjustable on the cleat.
  13. Riding a Giant is like riding a Raleigh. " Giant Bicycles.Melbourne Australia, Designed in the USA. Made in Taiwan" Should i say any more. Stiffness will get you further than looks so rather go for the CR1. But if siffness realy is what you are looking for the Cevelo R3 beats all Brands, models and makes of carbon bikes in the world. Retails at R 23000.00 frame, fork, headset and seatpost.
  14. Have a look at the Silverback Alpinr or Phoenix.
  15. Have you checked out HED and Corima. Also kick ass stuff at reasonable prices compared to Zipp and Easton.
  16. Quinton These two wheelsets are imported by the same company Cool Heat so which one ever the backup will be the same. However i think the Ksyrium will be a better buy due to it having better bearings and very strong and fairly light. Shimano has not yet mastered the art of wheelsbuilding seeing that their wheels change every year and there are many comebacks on them. Mavic however has perfected the art of wheelbuilding seeing that it is their core business. Hope this helps
  17. Hi Wolverene. If the fluctuation is up get her on ice and versa visa if down. But at that price it is an exelent bike and buy. Buy now ask forgiveness later.!
  18. Have you considdered HED wheels. Lance Armstrong endorses them very well. He won 7 Tours de France on HED wheels. Bontrager uses their rims too. HED stinger 50's will put you back R12700.00 and they look good and boy are they fast. Good back up seeing that Cervelo SA imports them. If you are looking for clinchers HED Alps at the same price. Much cheaper than R18 000.00 for a set of ZIPPS and it works as good if not better. The R12700.00 for HED's includes Scewers and valve extentions other than ZIPP who charges extra for those on top of R18000.00.
  19. Silverback also offers great value for money in the R5000.00 price range. Check their website: www.silverbacklab.com.
  20. Morne Bester Cycles was selling them at R 1000.00 per set. Nice price for a set of training wheels i say. And at 2.2kg they will work very well as training wheels.
  21. The team bikes only 100 was made and 10 are going to the team. The rest was distributed to dealers according to sales during 2005/2006. Cajees obviously got the most. Yes the RC 7000 and RC6000 has the same frame as the team bike but the forks wheels and components differ.
  22. Big Ben. SRAM now have road groups as well called force and sport. Good looking Carbon and titanium componentws. Hope this helps with your confusion.
  23. The thug. Have you seen campy MTB groups lately. I think the servey is for road groups only.
