  1. Yip, looks like they have tried a new design/concept. #Fail
  2. True, but I still want to know which LBSes do not have the skills to service a shock. The owner can still then turn it around by addressing his skills gap and then marketing his new skills. Would you want to take your car to a garage for a service and hope that they know what they are doing, when someone else has had bad service, but elected not to warn you about it?
  3. This is the route I usually use in December when I am down there. Another route, although not as good, it to go up to Umhlanga Ridge, take Umhlanga Rocks Drive (M12) and just follow that as it becomes Kenneth Kaunda Rd (I think), then Northway and then past the stadium. Using these two you can make a nice circular route, with some nice climbs.
  4. Not at all nice. I would make sure that the shock is working 100% when I get it back, ask them for proof that it was sent to the agents for service (invoice or job card from agents). I would not go back there again, and would name and shame them here so that other hubbers are also not taken for a ride by this LBS.
  5. @ Thaba or Rietvlei?
  6. Guerrilla marketing, or is it just gorillas?
  7. It's Sir Chris Hoy to you.
  8. Yes, but no CT.
  9. How are you finding the riding with a 46? I am looking at an SS for training, and this is an option, but I have my doubts about a 46.
  10. Could get quite technical. When are you allowed to overtake, when you can see the green flag(light), or only from the point of the green light? Just like speed limits on the road, they only apply from that point of the sign and onwards.

  12. It was a bit of a different route through the JHB CBD that year.

  14. Not quite.
  15. This is supposed to be the Jhb event, but it is out near Brits. A bit far to go for a Jhb event. #fail
  16. Yip, and then the tree falls on the car.......
  17. Yip, my thoughts exactly.
