  1. Just for you you guys and gals doing the Cycle Tour.... Grinch.mp4
  2. Slightly off topic. Had my booster shot last week Friday and have never felt so crap in my life before. Even having Covid last year felt better (LOL). Whole body ached, fever, Head Ache (Thankfully these have subsided), severe stomach cramps which are still persisting. Needless to say, have not been on the bike since last week Thursday.
  3. Not a good move and in a branded vehicle as well. Would send to Ford Claremont and see how quickly the sponsored vehicle gets withdrawn (could just be wishful thinking though)
  4. Price does seem steep looking at the condition of the groupset etc.
  5. Battling the masses in the Cradle on a Sunday morning
  6. One to add to the bucket list
  7. DSTV are living in the dark ages. Pee Subscribers off = Subscribers leave = less revenue
  8. Darn, and here I thought it was Friday already.
  9. Awesome initiative. However, I think that the criminal element will prevail no matter what (hope I am wrong).
  10. As others have mentioned, best to seek professional advice. Could possibly also be a misalignment of the Sacrum which subsequently causes Sacroiliitis (inflammation of one or both of your sacroiliac joints.)
  11. Still not convinced. Will be playing in the dirt (MTB) rather than playing dodgeball with cars/bikes/taxis.
  12. Here's hoping that this scumbag gets arrested soon.
  13. Not sure if they are still made, but my son had the Muna Pro. Lightweight and a drum brake mechanism
  14. Fantastic news and kudo's to you for the appreciation of good customer service.
  15. AMP to retire end of this year. Ashleigh Moolman Pasio to retire at end of 2022 | Cycling Weekly
  16. Just listened to the Jacaranda pod cast. Absolutely shocking. If the perp had just the slightest bit of conscience, he would willingly hand himself in (pie in the sky thought, I know). If that was me, I dont know how I would be able to live with myself knowing that I killed someone.
  17. The Pain Cave (AKA The Garage)
  18. Speechless. Yet again it falls on the private sector to try and induce justice on this scumbag.
  19. WTF. Yet again our justice system is farked
  20. Throw into the mix, Taxi's dropping off workers on Beyers, guys and gals out on their Breakfast Runs, think spending the morning on the couch is the far safer option. Disappointing though, as having missed Ride Joburg last year due to injury, was looking forward to getting a race under the belt. Will be interesting to hear the post race revues of those that do do it.
  21. A bit of a hijack. At what age did hubbers migrate their kids from 24" to 26/27.5/29"? My son is turning 11 and is already outgrowing his 24".
  22. You could also have a look at the Muna range.
  23. Have also entered the 90KM. Considering giving it a skip as it could become an absolute **** show. There is no mention of partial road closures only (quote)"significant buy-in from the Joburg Metro as well as Mogale City which will enable a safe cycling environment on race day". As mentioned above, Witkoppen, Malibongwe and Beyers will be each man to themselves with the Taxis/Cars etc. Cradle will be a nightmare with all the other users (cyclists and runners). Interested to hear other opinions.
  24. My honest answer if that I think that that frame is toast. Sure that there are more knowledgeable hubbers out there so lets see what they have to say.
  25. Looks to be a new team outfit? Sean Bennet from Qhubeka also joined.
