  3. The route is used often and I would say it a generally safe.. However there is always a risk when going out alone. Big trucks and cars don’t exactly stick to the speed limit on those roads, there isn’t any shoulder, so be careful. I only ride the route with the club and with the backup vehicle. But then I only have time to ride with the club.
  4. agree, I am NOT a lightweight and hated that section after the climb..
  5. not sure, the bunches should stick together now for that section, the climb used to split the bunches up..

  8. Imana Wild ride last week, amazing experience.. very different to most events.. No rush, can take time to enjoy the scenery..

  11. saw somewhere that his ban is now done, he is now allowed to participate in other sports besides cycling, lifetime ban from (UCI i suppose) cycling events

  15. the problem is the tests aren't fool proof, how many guys are on the stuff, how many guys test positive... if it was easy to catch the guys, more guys would get caught..

  17. TRIGGER PULLED - will be my first one.. Will use my 10km work commute for most of my week training, that way it doesn't interfere with the family life.. weekends will be easy to find longer hours to fit the long runs in.. Less cycling and more running, at least the bike maintenance will be less.. ;-)
