  10. Howzit Due to the appauling resale value of 26inch bikes these days, I am considering converting the current 26 inch 2010 Anthem X2 I have in the garage into a single speed beast. So my questions are as follows 1.) Has anyone done this? Tough? 2.) Chain tensioner? I see Yesss make a tensioner that will work. Possible to get this in SA? From who? 3.) Whats the estimate conversion cost? I have seen some sites where they use an old derailleur in place of the tensioner. Is that a better way to go? http://forums.mtbr.com/singlespeed/full-suspension-conversion-single-speed-753290.html Thanks Brad

  15. Anyone received a confirmation email today? The lotto was meant to happen over the weekend.
  16. 93.07 on my Garmin as well. Was slightly off putting seeing the 98km signs though... That might have been because I was headbutting the wall at that stage
  17. Two piece. Then you can leave the shirt in T1 and not have to cycle the first bit with a freezing lycra chest plate.
  18. LEGEND!

3:10 for me. Legs fell off at 75km. Much work to do...
  20. I did both this year. Swam a total of 1.5km and ran 7km leading up to the race. I have done a few IM's before though. Found I was stupid strong on the bike and decent enough on the run. Definitely worth doing both if you have the chance
  21. Sigh... I feel bad for the ladies who have to fight their way through 2700 men on a tricky bike course... CAP THE ENTRIES! my 2c
  22. Who on here is doing Midlands as warm up?
  23. +1
  24. If you can do Jailbreak rather do that. There are just too many bikes on the course. And the fact that they are mostly TT bikes (ie. less manoeuvreable) makes it a receipe for disaster on the downhills.
  25. How the entries looking?
