Sepia - you should have taken your own food with you on the ride and not have to depend on the tables

I thought it was well done yesterday. The road surface wasn't the best in certain areas but hey, go look at the European races - they are so much worse. The course is much better then the 94.7, atleast you can go to the beach after you finish unlike in JHB. The organizers do what they can with what they have and i think they do a good job every year with hardly any sponsors to help. What you must all remember is the road cycling scene in KZN is nowhere near as big as in Jozi and CPT so our numbers are not huge which also means that sponsors are harder to find. They did however cover up a lot of the pot holes during the week in time for the race which is good to see. In terms of accidents I did see a few on the route and one or two at the finish but havnt heard of a bike jacking on yet.
  3. Did exactly what TNT1 said above and my squeak went away

  6. Great idea but what about when you post an ad with about 20 things in it? Like a clean out sale.. then you have to post 20 individual adverts
  7. Would rather buy one and import it. Service locally is terrible. I ride a tarmac and do want the new one soon but will never buy it locally.
  8. That cant be right then, mine just clip in so easily. Maybe the cleat adjustment is to tight or something then?
  9. Have you put the clean on correctly? I made that mistake the first time i used mine.
  10. you heart is in the right place, doubt they have that amount of moola lying around!
  11. Change the rotors to hope, they will not squeek again. I have the same bike, mine is good as gold. Just changed the tyres but that's personal choice.
  12. I used to use 1x9 for xc racing, works very well
  13. Sani pass is my favorite place to ride a bike, suffer up the pass and fly back down after lunch! Nothing is better then the thrill of the switchbacks on the way back down. Male category
  14. That is UGLY!
  15. Judging on your given guestimation measurements, it will be a tight squeeze on my frame and fork. Not willing to fork out a new wheelset for it not to work.
  16. Yeah I also read that about 29er frames, so count that out. The spacing on the fork doesnt look right either. But now will the frame work? dont want to order wheels and then need another frame
  17. I have a Scott Scale 35 2010 26er frame and also have a Scale Expert 29er frame. I am wanting to convert one of them to a 650B bike, will the 26er work? or only the 29er? I am using a Sid team 26er fork.
  18. Iv got a few.. Scale 30 26er Scale Expert 29er Spark Elite 29er

  23. Cherise should have been there for sure! Shes one of the best ladies we have at the moment. She will make the 2016 games but in MTB im sure.
  24. If the major road races are UCI regulated and the riders get given bottles and jackets every 30 minutes, is that not outside assistance? It falls under the same code of conduct and rules.. Anyway... who still reads these local mags? Same #### different month
  25. I have to agree, i dont see any issues with my rear shock either. That said, there were a few guys at sani2c who's back shocks lost all air and needed new ones.
