when you chat with the guys after the race...from Elites right through to Masters not complaining...the shorter the better...not fit enough for longish races!!!
same situation.... Killarney is flat....and only an hour..."how hard can it be?" Still only max 8 guys doing the racing in the bunch then the rest complain it is too short or not hard enough.... B)
The funny thing is...Tyler and his mates never complained when they were in the team because when Lance does well they do well $$$$ wise. Suddenly everyone is running out of $$$....NOW the doping was wrong and they need to speak.
Not being negative towards Cape Cycles or you but it still amazes me that we rave about service that should be "normal" service. Not just cycling related but in general...
Yip...easy to slate the Lab but would like to see the other hubbers cycle shops contributing to cycling and racing. Most other bike shops would rather stick money in their pockets and not contributing to development/cycling in general.
I like the racing with PPA events...this is how I got my wife into cycling. While I was racing she hit's the short route. It is a win-win situation...the league gives the PPA races a bit more entries than normal.
Cycling needs a character...almost like Chippo! Arrogant when winning a stage...no way...celebrate the way you like! Imagine everyone did the same old victory salute...how boring!
