If you want numbers to come to your race you should make the medium route a lot easier, the route is waaayyyy too difficult for a "normal" MTB'er so tackle. Like Marius said, the marking was brilliant, I got lost at one stage where you go up and reached a dead-end at the tar road just before joining the medium route. ONE HECTIC RIDE!!!!!

Just to get it off my chest AGAIN!! Why is that people need to say "lady driver" in their adds? If I buy a car then it means clutch moer toe and front mags is scratched to death against pavings. Bicycles?? What diff does it make? Like to see comments...cheers!!! B)

I bought an old back wheel from a cycle shop, put one of my old clusters on and also bought a Continental indoor trainer tyre(ugly yellow one). When I hop on the trainer I just swop the back wheel.

I use one often...sometimes I work late or weather does not play along so I jump on one. Boring but it makes you strong!!! Play some lekker tunes while riding, this will help with the boring part.

The pay thing about JHB vs CPT is not true, it is more the company that you work for. You get companies in JHB that pay well and some shyte. Same for CPT...some pay well some don't. When I moved to CPT I got a job that payed a lot more than in JHB.

It is funny how some people always find something to moan about...some people can never be satisfied.

Nope, 175K and everyone get's a chance to ride with Lance in front of bunch so that they can take a pic of you and Lance. Lance will sign that pic and it get's framed. You will get it the same eve!

get yourself to some sort of fitness level then go and try out a club ride. Me going on a normal 3 hour ride can turn into a 5 hour ride because that person is struggling with basic fitness...it will be frustrating for the group/person AND even more for the "novice"
