  7. Just hope you not in retail...with that attitude you will not get far. You getting judged by people for not the mistakes you make but how you handle them. In retail it is always about customers service/customer is king. That shop will always have business because in our country service is a bonus. When a business gives you a service that you pay for we see that as great service where that is basically a normal service. P.S. Not referring to the shop but in general retail enviroment.
  8. You just summarized my whole point there. Of course you right by saying that "we cannot compete with the upcountry pro's" BUT by sitting there and hope for the best is not helping, attack bring the racing to them and see how it plans out. Next time our Capies must just give them more aggressive racing.
  9. The one's that has riders in that does not work and ride a bicycle for pocket money.
  10. Take balls to take option 2...David maybe the only guy I know that took option 2! o ja...David is 37!
  11. Scary thing is that you have 3 good pro Cape Town teams with good pro riders (raced in Europe this winter) and still not be able to bring back the break or bring the racing to Bonitas.
  12. What make of server do they have? IBM?
  13. I want to let it go for R8500
  14. on the hub there is a lot of them...as you can see
  15. Sorry...forgot mixed the wheels names up with copy and paste error from my side. About the weight...I wrote "about 1080grams" and not "exact weight 1080grams".
  16. You will not get better/lighter climbing wheels than the Easton EA90 SLX Carbon tubbies! They pure climbing wheels and weigh about 1080grams for the set. I have a pair to sell if you interested.
  17. HA! Ha! Ha! So true!

  20. if this was any other bike shop then hubbers would go "have you phoned the manager first before you nail the shop on a public forum"
  21. I have a KTM Score Prestige...9.8kg standard!
  22. 26" dual sus... lighter, more nippy on technical single track and 29er geometry is not for me on a medium frame.
  23. Black Mamba (and it is for sale )...
  24. First I will take a chill pill, then I would go and say I raced in the states for a while so I know what you get for your dollar. I underlined the part "in general"...which means not aimed directly at you but in general. Never said $90 is cheap BUT if I earn in dollars and spend dollars is not the same as earning in rands and spend in dollars. Clear enough? This is a topic raised by a person who feels that the amount charged to enter the race is a bit rough for him. Surely he is entitled to that opinion? It is too much so he is not racing it...end of story. You getting a bit warm under the collar for nothing.
  25. That is what I mean with my post...$90 is nothing, just getting a bit aggro in general when people start justifying local prices with overseas when they do not earn Dollars, Pounds or Euro's.
