  1. Think it's a bit like James Patterson, his first books I really enjoyed but then he started to churn them out and co-write with others and they were not so great.
  2. Think I should get my children their little purple passports instead of travelling on South African as less visas needed it seems.

  5. The Evan thing all happened whilst I had not even thought I would ever get on a bike let alone enjoy it and had not Googled bike stuff which was how I found BikeHub. I have sort of worked out the story from reading past posts one night (insomnia). I was curious as to whether he ever complained about the thread/posts which were deleted?
  6. Listening to Black Betty earlier which I always enjoy. Made me think of another 70's song that I enjoy.
  7. Ha ha. At least it was the garden. Mine went through a stage of taking all his clothes off at every opportunity and running around. Luckily Winter's arrival cured him off that habit and he got out of it by the next Summer.

  10. Probably not to most people's taste and the quality of video is pretty bad but I did enjoy the song.

I am not sure if I remember the Lion Lager road shows so it might have been whilst I was back in England or I just have bad memory.

He was never my favourite person but to give credit where its due, back in the day, he did play music that was not readily available and so people got to hear songs that they probably wouldn't have heard otherwise.
  15. Barney Simon - that's a name from the past. I didn't realise that he played it so much, I just like the song.

  21. ???????????? Youngster! I was a couple of years before 1981. Older brother in charge of telly meant I watched all sorts before I should.

  24. A colleague's birthday today so cannot turn down the savoury snacks she brought - samosas, prawn rissoles, chicken pies etc. Fully aware of calorie content, unhealthy etc. but they taste really good!
