  1. It sounds like the sensors are bouncing between your head unit and your watch? Have you tried it with all other devices well out of range?
  2. Sooo.... Not the same! You have to make sure all parts of your frame, derailleur, saddle bag etc are all polished. Why make your life so difficult
  3. Right on cue I had a puncture today and got sealant all over the rear of the bike. This is how easy it was to remove. You are NOT doing this with Stans!
  4. Cycling friends in green point rent out bikes. Not sure what their pricing is like
  5. Orange Seal peels off very easily with your finger
  6. Dyna plugs work well. I've used about 8 over the past 2 years and they work perfectly and stay in the tyre until it is worn out. Lots of shops stock it now
  7. If a door opens right in front of you at 30km/h you may only have time to close your eyes
  8. Please, let's not be ridiculous. You can't train yourself to ride head on into a door. It is not a door opening 20 metres in front of you. The door is opening so close in front of you that you wouldn't be able to react either way. Where you subsequently land is pot luck

  10. It doesn't work like that in reality
  11. I know rim brakes are now dead and buried but does anyone know if anyone sells Came Creek EE Brakes calipers locally?
  12. Well done everyone. That was an incredible turnout. The peleton looked like it was 3km long
  13. I use the Magene from Amazon.co.za R750
  14. The cost to send you wheels with insurance is very costly
  15. Maybe avoiding the area is not an option, how are we supposed to get into town from Tableview (no, I'm not jumping on a myciti bus). The Berkeley road/Amazon route isn't much better, probably more dangerous going through Woodstock
  16. It will hardly be a surprise attack over this stretch of road. I came through there this morning on the harbour side and a guy was running across the highway to get to us
  17. Maybe! Maybe not! Yes, he looked like Clint Eastwood coming round the corner. It was F Epic
  18. I was cycling in on Sunday, I stopped on the N1 overpass because there were 3 guys by Womag. I waited a few minutes but no cars came and then from nowhere Mr X came round the corner. He had seen me and was now riding one handed with a GLOCK at the ready. He was strong as hell so no problem riding one handed. It was fantastic, thank you
  19. Yes. An 11sp chain on 10sp groupset shifts better
  20. I don't want to share the email responses that I have had. Apart from the officials who push the blame elsewhere there is a specific task team who have been assigned to this.
  21. I have been in contact with various city officials and I believe the ball is now rolling and action will be taken. Let's see what happens over the next 2 weeks...
  22. Likewise. He was full of excuses and I told him exactly that. It's very easy for them to shift the blame. I don't give them 55 excuses when I pay my rates and taxes
  23. I drove over Woodstock bridge in my car and was shocked to see the state of that whole section. Surely it is safer to cycle straight past the castle?
  24. Just bombard these guys with emails. It costs you nothing Louis Cason <Louis.
  25. Don't change the whole race because the top 5 want to cheat a bit
