  1. Slow down guys.Out of previous posts on the hub I have learned that there is always two sides to a story.Let's give the other chap time to respond.
  2. Thank you Thug.Easy when you know how!
  3. I know it has been discussed before but how do I merge two exercises into one, with all the details including the graphs. Cant find the previous link. Thank you
  4. I think it is fair to ride in club kit on your license. We have problems at our club as well.We have organized rides six days a week, discount at the LBS for members and a whole lot of other benefits.Come race day we still have members that pitch in other kit.For us it is about branding and promoting our club. This you only get at the bigger races. So why must someone rely on the help and support during the week and on race day pitch in different kit?
  5. I only do what I ussually do.Eat normally the night before and then have a huge breakfast about 2,5 hours before the race.(Pronutro, wholeweat bread and two scrambled eggs) I have tried carbo loading, but has seen no different results.
  6. I am 1.74 m tall and weigh 77 kg My body fat % is 9.75. (did it last year with Garry Beneke)At the Virgin Active it goes up to 14.5%.Would assume GB's more accurate with the calipre.Idael race weight is 75 kg
  7. Thank you mallo. Look financialy we make it,but we are thinking of something extra that we can pass back onto our members. We will also include the licencing fees for next year
  8. What would you guys feel is a fair fee to charge for a club offering MTB,Road and BMX disciplines. There is organised group rides 6 days a week,a tent with refreshments at major races.Would you want a club kit included in membership fees or would you like to buy it seperately.Sounds like a mouthfull but your input will be appreciated. Thank you

  10. Get at least 5000 km out of a 10 speed Dura Ace chain, but I do clean it 3 times a week and lube properly afterwards.Cleaning part seem to be the secret.
  11. Or if you have to chuck it just wait until you get to a water point and rather drop it there. At least there is people cleaning up afterwards.I don't like keeping a sticky thing in my back pocket either, but I can always pace myself to get to a waterpoint and use a gel there.

  17. A car ploughed into three cyclists, killing one of them, on the Deneysville Road, near Green Point Prison in the Vaal Triangle on Sunday morning, paramedics said. The dead cyclist was thought to be from Dunkeld, Johannesburg, said ER24 spokesperson Werner Vermaak. The car was found on its roof 200 metres from the scene. Its driver was thought to have lost control of the vehicle after crashing into the cyclists. He sustained minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. His condition was stable, said Vermaak. The other cyclists were not hurt. Vaal Triangle police were investigating. In January, 3000 cyclists protested in Mulbarton, south of Johannesburg, against the dangers they faced on the roads. This, after the deaths of cyclists Graham Cooper and Sybrand van Dyk. Cooper died on the Old Vereeniging Road on 21 January when he was hit by a truck overtaking another truck. Van Dyk died when he was hit by a taxi driver and dragged 30 metres on the N17 near Springs.

  21. Myself and 3 friend bought anthem 1's. It is an awsome bike.Gives you the feeling of a stiff racer but with the travel and comfort of a dual sus.We all bought at Bring It On in Kloof and had awesome service. They even lend me a demo to go and ride at Giba before I made up my mind.
