  1. Phoned half of Joburg and the one shop in Bloem and got no luck finding it in black in Large. But will just wait for the back order to arrive. If my wife’s arrives mid November as promised then I am optimistic mine will arrive in December before we go to the coast.
  2. Seeded in F but dropping back to H, so will hunt you down like last year CTCT haha
  3. Have two Trek Top Fuel 7s on back order, wife’s is arriving next month and mine in December, so good luck finding stock. Also had a massive dig around at this price range and ended up going with the Treks!
  4. Apparently you can make pronutro with cold milk, it just require double the amount of milk as normal, so more or less 3 litres for a single serving
  5. I see the date for 2022 is out, 13 March! Time to start digging for accommodation! Think we will try sea point area this time!
  6. Not sure how anyone is supposed to push over the last bit of Suikerbossie without the Virgin Active crew cheering you on, looking forward to that return!
  7. Wife got a push up suikerbossie a couple of years back and finished without her phone.
  8. We were right at the back of 5E, only realised afterwards had we been 5 min later we would have missed the group. the Marshals at E we’re definitely useless. 3 guys from 6D almost talked there way into starting with 5E, took them way too long to figure it out
  9. Presuming the time slot is for the hour. Not sure how strict they will be. We booked for 9am and when we got here the 8am crowd hadn’t gone in yet. #slowstart
  10. 100%!!! Wait for me at Suikerbossie again this year please, made the trip up easier having someone I remotely know suffering next to me
  11. What about the Giants? #Triggered
  12. Just don't tick that you have ever had cramps in your life before, otherwise your questionnaire expands considerably
  13. Should be purple I presume? Let's discuss why there is no expo, but the overpriced souvenir shop will still be a requisite walkthrough. . . .
  14. Super happy the event is going forward, considering all that is going on in the country, this is a beacon of hope of some sort of normalcy creeping back in to daily life. I see the R250 testing fee for my wife and myselft as a drop in the ocean that is the overall expenditure of 4 nights accommodation, driving to Cape Town, eating, drinking, Krispy Kremes, Frozen Yoghurt. I believe you only have to get tested after 9:30am on Thursday for it to qualify, no need to retest on race day. Thank goodness for that, as a rapid test before you start would mean your nose would only feel less violated around Camps Bay
  15. Haha nope. I presume it was said sarcastically, didn't want any newbies to misunderstand though
  16. This is now the 2nd time I think you have said this, and while the idea is cute, I presume the reality will be different . . .
  17. It is what is is mate, the route is from PMB to Durban, people have been doing it for years despite the logistics. Although my sister used to live in Pmb and my niece in Durban, so i was blessed logistics wise, now they both live in Durban so will probably bus in or stay with friends in Howick, a lot further out but closer than durban i suppose. Will be back next year, too close to CTCT this year
  18. However the safe cycling PPA group is limited to 450 riders this year so not sure how that will work out
  19. Had this debate with my wife last night as well, we both have had shot one, so we ticked other and stated that we have had shot 1 of 2 of Pfizer. Presume the "other" is for these cases
  20. Also dropping back to my wife in 5E that has been punished for having a baby last year, so it wont be lonely back there
  21. Have been holding off on accommodation and taking leave, so those will be sorted today! Now to panic train in Clarens this weekend.
  22. Wait, how do you pay 60% tax?
  23. Okay, in terms of taking into account what most of you are saying, would the Trek Top Fuel 7 be a better choice then? If not being specific to brand, but in general range of travel and budget considered? The Scott Spark also can be a contender. Deciding factor really is stock, especially when looking for two bikes
