  1. New deal signed yesterday
  2. Send people who know what they doing in that level of environment and have a proven track record with the required qualifications for it.
  3. There may be a change here ????????
  4. I don’t think he can make such a big change so late in his career. Maybe become a stage hunter or a super domestique but does he want to? Teams are definitely looking for a top 15 or top 10 at the Tour - this alone in its own right is a massive result for any rider. Watching him ride I see that he rides well to his capabilities and strengths. Which to some outside think this is bad or a negative but he has done it well to top 10s at a grand tour. The level now is not what is was 1,2,3,4 years ago so to get 14th at the Tour (if I’m right on gc) this year is a top 10 4 years ago
  5. Comments from management being that they not there to babysit. That environment and of athlete is exactly what you doing in order to make sure they perform optimally. When this is managements view you know that they are totally incapable of the job expected to be done and should never be there in that environment. as said in a previous post - same old same old every year and until athletes band together and take a stance and make sure people are held accountable, can’t see anything change going forward.
  6. When you look at the topics or continuous monotony when it comes to the Olympics or World champs from athletes on how they were managed (I say that lightly) kit orders, staff compliments and the likes from either CSA or Sascocc it’s always the same year after year from riders and watchers (like us here) nothing changes ever and this year it is no different again. Info coming out is mind blowing and disrespectful to athletes involved. after putting my hand up for World champs now as a favor to some athletes, it came down very quickly after a few back and forths and “rules”
  7. It is / was run like a normal xc with lapped riders being pulled.
  8. His manager was told at the briefing
  9. he was pinched out on the start into that rock section and came about in 19th. Put his head down and came back to a solid 8th by the end. Was as high as 7th at 1 point and seemed to lose it alittle the last 2 laps. Great ride and solid from 16th at the last olympics.
  10. The team car was following him. ????
  11. It was not available. NO Bottles when needed.
  12. When you have no access to the 2 bottles on your bike for the 1st 100km, that isnt being serviced. Your race is over.
  13. Its tough when you dont get fed correctly....or at all.
  14. As reference here is some temp data from a file: 1st pic average with the max temp of the road race 2nd is the average and max on top of climb
  15. Alan bought and paid for his own kit from Bioracer
  16. When I lived in the hood many moons ago and the shop was nothing near to today, they (Michael) was nothing short of incredible. put up with all my **** and looked after me well. Great to see them expand like this year on year. Wish them all the best.
  17. or they have long arms
  18. Some accurate info, more none accurate.
  19. As reference that kids who follow structured Training from a young age hardly ever make it past 2nd year U23 and those who do by chance barely go onto being outliers as they were in junior ranks. as a company we do not introduce or take on athletes under 16yrs old - yes sometimes alittle earlier but then it’s about learning how to train as apposed to “I want my child to have Matt beers or Mikkel Bjerg pgm”
  20. Would rather put deepheat in my eyes and eat cucumber than listen to Ross.
  21. His kit probably only lasts 90min so needs it for the race. there was that time at worlds where the men and ladies had to swop kit also after races some Time ago. Hahaha
  22. Life is good!
