  1. if only....myne is klein maar stink soos n grote
  2. yea, you can shave your head for another 10g but that is about it for you
  3. Nope 200w is 200w....its the measure of power your legs produce...gots fakol to do with the bike....weight will influence the speed that the 200w can drive forward though. Its like saying is 1 ton of lead heavier than 1 ton of feathers....
  4. Nope very valid point meneer....point and case a rigid carbon Sure you save 1kg overall by fitting one....but the "nimbleness" it gives you when climbing rocky tech stuff is worth much more
  5. Lekkers!!!! followed by a whipskey session....I can spot a 16 year ol a mile away...wait that didn't come out right
  6. Reminds me of the ol myth that castle is bitter and black label sweet....on the bitterness scale, they are identical...pilsner urqualalla or whatever is SAB's most bitter beer. But because zamalek has banana as dominant tasting note, and is perceived as sweet.. fookin mind games
  7. And I say milk it naas..... Tyres are but one thing a lbs must stock...
  8. Emma isn't technical....
  9. Dont agree....with that ratio I would rather stock my shelves with goods that move faster...that is if I was a retailer. From a business point of view this would make sense...as a value add to clients in the hope that it will almost act as some kind of "loss leader" it could work.
  10. I won't consider a frame either if it only comes out in pressfit standards. BB30 is mos a cannondale invention, and agree a step backwards, here i applaud santa cruz who only brought out the highball with bsa standard stating that it being more serviceable than the pressfit standard...hats off to them
  11. Top tip for pressfit bearing without the pressfit tool.... Moer the old ones out.....they fubar anyway....put the new ones in the deep freeze for 30minutes before fitting, spray a thin coat of spray and cook in shell where bearings will go. Tap in gently and try not to hurt the seals of the bearings...bit of a hack but works nicely. Or just by Shimano BSA
  12. waaaahaaaa new meaning to word "hardegat"
  13. Relegated to commuters / SS / bike hanging from roof and only to be used when other one is broken being serviced. True story
  14. I prefer snorting viagra and then smoking cialis....works for me.
  15. Used to have pressfit BB...was a dogshow ito maintenance. Shimano BSA BB....easy to fit, never dies.
  16. Awesome result....
  17. I am good thanks Naas....have clown wheels in my stable... But as you can see cpt....its becoming more a value add to customers than profit stream.
  18. Sure it could work for the smaller distributors, you know cater for a very niche market and it will probably end up like that. But the big boys are interested in moving stock fast...making money. It will be better for them to bring in the more popular sizes because they will move faster and take up less warehousing space etc etc. Making 50 rand profit of twice is better than making 80 rand profit once for the same cycle.
  19. Not the numbers that would warrant bringing containers of it though...if it was the case there would be stock. I don't think distributors are involved in a plot to overthrow the 26 inch wheel brigade. They will bring in what sells...no matter the product. Dead wood for them is bad news, its basically a hemorrhage for your cashflow in a very small market like SA It is what it is.....we all knew it was coming though. Relatively small market in SA + Predominantly a marathon culture given the terrain and events = No 26inch stock
  20. If there is enough demand, they will stock...but like you pointed out, there isn't alot of stock. SA market is predominantly marathon...hence the shops stock 29 and 27.5 No use in keeping dead wood on shelves so to speak
  21. Remember to bring your external HD next time swaerie...you could have gotten it for mahala from me a while ago. PS adsl is up and running....loving life.
  22. Its a public park not a bike park....
  23. mmmm, like I said, its all relative...some people will rave, some will rant for the exact same race. Rather go do it yourself and find out...You might miss some really nice rides because someones opinion of it was that it sucks. How would one allocate the stars as an example...if the OP was to allocate these it seems medals are a priority, but for me it would not even feature. Goody bag is another one that was important to him...to me, I care rocks about a free gel and 1974's huisgenoot. Its like beers....you will soon find your favourites
