Funny how the peanut gallery almost always tend to divert the attention from the real issue at hand; throwing in insults and unnecessary comments from the sidelines. The OP states his gripe good on him, the lynch mob joined in with real/imagined/rumoured/alleged incidents perpetrated by the same club/guy/s(normal for a Monday). The issue; transgressions perpetrated by members of a bunch/"peleton" led by predominantly CTG members. A word to the self-styled CTG spokesman, the only correct answer/response to a post like this is "we take note of your complaint and will investigate it" and then you investigate it. Your attempt at pacifying this bunch is like trying to subdue ravenous dogs while wearing Lady Gaga's beef outfit. To the fools, yes you know who you are, you are the chop who just for an instant felt a twinge of anger at me calling you a fool. Then due to global warming etc August became very unpleasant for road cycling and the tour was moved to the end of summer, co-incidently to Caesars favorite month, March. Cape March didn't sound so good so they stuck with Cape August which has a better ring to it, don't you think?

I'm still confused, how exactly was this guy's post inappropriate? that pic was in the public domain, (if he had taken photos of her without her permission and posted it; then I would be with you on this), his comments were not inappropriate. I am a father of a 21yr old son and 2 teenage daughters; so I have a pretty good idea of what is appropriate or not. When to haul out the bat and shotgun or not. FYI i dont give a fig about Mr Potgieter at the moment because he is not part of this topic or conversation. I'm sure he has every right to defend his wife/son's honor.

Andolex C throat spray, 5 squirts every 1.5hrs and drink plenty of water. It worked for me these past few days. Sore throat gone in 2days. If there is any fever involved dont take a chance, see a doctor.

I think the "main guys" were not taking him seriously and were more worried about watching each other and most probably thought they will be able to close him down quickly. I dont think they'll make that mistake again.

Buddy, your type of mindset is the reason why it will be tougher for us to sort out our country; failure to admit that between all the bad apples(perceived and real) in SAPS/govt/etc that there are those who actually take pride in their work. Try the Cyclo-core stuff, theres some good exercises coupled with Bike intervals to get the core sorted.

The culprits in this case really p!ss me off, because in one fell swoop they've done irreparable harm to the cause. On the one hand they've given the "I told you so's" the fodder they're looking for, on the other they've given those grudging "donors" the excuse to stop giving to/supporting cycling development (they didn't want to; in the first place). The "real" sponsors/donors will recognize this incident for what it is; a crime (theft). Which unfortunately you will find in any walk of life, in any age group, race group, income group. It is unfortunate that they were not brought to book and that the "coach" was not held accountable, but the SAPS hands are tied in this matter in that the victims chose not to lay any charges so I find it rather stupid of people taking them to task (in this instance). If you really feel so strongly and have all the info why not report the matter to the relevant CSA affiliate and bring Disciplinary steps against the club then?

Train harder then you can win a set next year.
