After two months and a good few thousand k's I finally resigned to the fact that my posterior was not going to be persuaded by a white Specialized Toupe Gel.

This saddle came highly recommended and there were times while riding that it felt very comfortable but alas, the majority of the time it felt like I was sitting on a nerve.

I didn't however do the fitting thing when I bought it and assumed that the 130 was the way to go, but I guess this might be the problem.

Anyways, I put a Fizik Arione and the ISP Giant feels like a different bike on rough roads.

Yip, I had the same problem........130 not made for men.......men needs to get at least the 145...but then your bike is going to look like a girls bike :)........I also switched over to Fizik and love the extra bit at the back of the saddle as epcailly when I climb

Fizik Arione = The best' date=' and, by the look of things the most popular saddle on the SA roads the last year... everyone's got one.

Me neither.  I found the Arione to be the most uncomfortable perch I've ever used!

He even tried it point up....... and liked it that way. Only problem was that when he stood up to sprint, which isn't easy for etwerp in the first place considering the weight he has to lift, the back wheel kept lifting off the ground.

Oi, YOU told me to put the seat on like YOU HAVE YOURS!!!  Now you ripping me off.

As for sprinting, I do everything, SLOWLY because of my bulk figure.

Why don't people ever look at the Aliante? I found it more comfortable then Arione.

Aliante = MTB?

Why would you want to put a XTR derailer on your roadbike?????
