Tumbleweed Posted November 11, 2007 Share met a couple more hubbers this weekend, in the flesh, so to speak: so hello to zoo cookie, bigmig, danger dassie, underachiever - nice to put faces to avatars! and to those hubbers i already know and saw - michh, cat-i, jldam, scotty (sorry i got so distracted at the shop) - nice to see you all again. oh michh, got the heavies in! we have recovered the schwinn. bastids didn't get far and there is one housebreaker who now wishes he never came near roller's house. sorry long story .... Tumbleweed Posted November 11, 2007 Share ok, ok. guys. sheeesh, i still haven't had time to bath after this morning's ordeal... but here goes: ride the spruit this morning with bigmig, danger dassie, jldam, michh and graham (sp?). very cool. demo'ed a commencal meta 5.5. beaut bike. prod review to follow. cool ride. cool peeps. was gonna hook up with michh, her dad and cat-i for an arvie spin at nf. organise eggs benedict at the mugg&bean. read my book. got some time to waste. phone rings. it's adt. your house has been broken into. rush home. bikes, belongings in the garden, they tell me. get home. after checking, notice the only thing the get away with is my new baba: get very annoyed. phone an old (now ex) police contact from my cub reporting days, and beg for help. no begging necessary, he says. give me an hour. 30 mins later the call comes.
