Well . . .  had a late night one last night. (see time stamp on post above)

Shortening brake-lines, bleeding brakes, ext.

Still need to get the handle bar height sorted. Get it lower.

(Seems if I was a bit conservative with steering tube cutting)

BUT   ready for the weekend  . . .  here  she is!!

(some quick pics the morning)

Sheesh that is pretty. Solid reliable build as well.

What model Brooks is that?

Thanks . . . . .

It is a the Brooks Swallow.

Not like any saddle I have ridden before.

Feels very hard (I understand that). But definitely some pressure on some strange areas.

Very nice bike that Contraband. All you need now is a dropper post on there and then it will be real fun!!!

take the spacers out from below the stem.... I don't think that you need them. She will look so much sexier...

Agree.

I will definitely remove  spacers.  Looks a bit dodgy now!

Hi.

I'm looking for a 29er Rigid fork.

Any will be considered but the preferred specs is as follows:

  • Steel or carbon.
  • Tapered steering tube.
  • Axle-to-crown on the longer side 480mm to 490mm
  • Thru-axle

Looked at some of the SA online shops and sent emails to some others but no joy.

Any suggestions?

I bought a carbon rigid fork from Flyxii. FLX-FK-8 + Ti Skewer.

http://www.flyxii.com/en/products/flx-fk-8-ti-qr-skewer.html

Uncut steerer tube (Tapered)

I can measure Axle to Crown

QR, not TA.

If you interested, PM me

Willing to let it go for what it cost me ~R1800 when you convert and add VAT etc.
