Here are a few more S/S chain rings we have cut today.

All these have 5 bolt holes, you done any with 4?

Not yet, we experimenting with the road bike cranks at the moment, we will shortly. I just need your BCD and what how many teeth and I can do it no problem.

What about some rear SS cogs from the off cuts, nice and thick like the chain rings?

How thick are we talking? These are cut from 2mm & 3mm S/S. I like your thinking and am going to go beat my machine operator with a stick for not thinking about this and wasting material.

3mm is best.

For the rear cog or chainrings?

 

Both if you're using a 1/8" chain.

 

If using 3/32" chain (or 6,7,8 9 speed) then 2mm, 3mm will be too wide

Up to 8 speed chain should be fine with 2 mm.

Most would be looking for a 4 bolt 32t with 104 BCD
