After an epic failure on Saturday with the first coat, i decided to strip it back give it another attempt on Sunday which turned out much more successful.

 

Not sure if it was the air pressure or if there was just too much moisture in the air on Sat but all the ingredients were mixed the same for Sundays attempt.

 

The white will only be the base coat for the metallic + pearl orange which will hopefully go on this afternoon.

Can anyone shed some light on this crankset at all?

 

Will be used on the new project :)

Sugino track crank.

Believe it or not, these non anodised versions are worth quite a bit to the right collector with that stamp on.

These were very popular for the Keirin .

Nothing to do with the crank, but my son and I just canned ourselves laughing at your quote.

I know this is taking way to long but I will get there ,just need a few more pieces and we in the game.

What are you missing still? Rear disc and?

I've got a disc , just need to order a belt and rear sprocket. And then change the grips ,The ones I bought are not the right color.

That would explain why the thing is so skew. An oke with moerse big legs pomped that thing around the tracks

 

Did you manage to get it working properly?
