Pity that it cant be put up as you finish on a LCD screen.Imagine as you finish you can go over to a screen and see how you did. Im sure its possible to do preliminary results that way, maybe the software is up to that level yet.

Can you imagine how the organisers would be flooded with people saying 'i checked when i finished, i was 3947th, now you have made me 4006th!!! You people are incompetent!'

I can fully understand why they do it the way they do. Rather wait a day, and get a much more realistic idea.

Reason I was asking how they set the group start time is because I did 3:00:05 on my bike computer :)

Started from group L for an almost entire solo ride to the finish. Came 2nd in my group so there's one L rider with a guaranteed sub3.

It felt strange feeling so lonely amongst enormous bunches of riders :)

The guy who took the group win didn't play it very nice though, I pulled him all the way up Chaps screaming 'left' and 'passing' and setting the pace etc. just to see him sprint away 50m from me on Suikerbossie & finding a quick tandem on the long downhill... Together both of us would have a guaranteed sub-3.

I guess he wanted the group win  ...

Still I don't need to say I was happy doing it in 3h finding my way through hundreds and hundreds of people during my Argus TT.

I got 2:55, I think.

From Group C.

Awesome weather - there should be a few PB's again today.

I Bos out there - he left me for dead on Chappies.

I also saw Fanie Fiets.

And Lilo on the start line.

And FRAIL on Boyes Drive - looking strong as always.

Pat! Was to funny when I realised Its you bro. Seriously had no Idea :D I didnt dare look, the riding was so intense that boyes drive to smitswinkel streach all I did was pay attention to the break. The pace was furious, up front the guys were hungry!

Where I left you there were some okes attacking chappies as if it was a hilltop finish, I knew they wouldt last :P and caught them all near the top, then didnt have much of a bunch down the other side and hit lots of traffic up suikerbos.

I got over suikerbos with about 15 okes and rode one serious speedline down to the finish.

I got 2:54 on my garmin.

Im well chuffed. My first sub3  at the finish I realised I only drank half a bottle :P

@atraut were you the Brit on the Specialized?

Think the Specialized was me (black and white bike) wearing a black top and red shorts. Well done group E!

@Panda CT Now I remember. Didn't you say to me on Boyes, "Don't get dropped!"? Where did you come overall in E? E was a terrific group. I'm guessing the top 4 riders just got away on Chappies because it was a real melee with all the other D and C riders all over the map. I made a bad mistake of not positioning myself well at the base and couldn't see them go. Anyway, happy with my time.

Congrats to everyone. Terrific ride.
