Consider yourself to be one of those few who can look at an old bike, not exactly know why, but just 'sense' that there is something there - and that with a little bit of effort, you can end up with a bike as gorgeous as ever... Well done. Now.About that chain guard....

It slots into the same spot as the quill stem. Then you simply clamp a more modern stem to it. No cutting or grinding required.

No cutting or grinding required.[/quote'] um....yeah I did my research but somehow it wasn't very widely available on the market.....looked even on overseas websites and they didn't have any.......so went this way I must say I like the carbon fork and just the whole thing plus it was a prove me wrong thing - they said it CAN'T be done....
