Wonder if the unbranded zipp's are used as training wheels?

 

Highroad is the one team that is not tied to a wheel sponsor. They have always insisted on using the best (or personal) option available when it comes to wheels therefor you will see them riding what they want. Probably the best endorsement you can get as a wheel manufacturer!

Thought it was something to that effect. I do recall them having their own branding on the wheels last year, Mark normally on 404 in front and 808 back.

I see they are official partners with HED and Shimano (and mention their wheels on the site). I suspect this may also be why they use unbranded Zipps.
