ZTR are awesome value for money.

There is a 75kg limit on the Crest wheelset.

If you want to go the ZTR way, the Arch 29er will be perfect.

Also consider American Classics, weight is also in the 1,600g range. WIth no weight limit issues.

Race Gold 29er Wheelset -- 1345g -- suggested rider weight limit 75kg

Crest 29er Wheelset ---- 1580g --- suggested rider weight limit < 90kg

Arch 29er Wheelset ---- 1780g --- suggested rider weight limit < 105kg

Flow 29er Wheelset --- + 105kg riders

The above are only guidelines based on Std No Tubes ZTR Wheelset builds --- using different spokes can achieve different rider weight limits eg. a DT Comp vs DT SuperComp would increase the strength of a wheel, but add weight.

Nice bikes guys! I must admit out of all the 29ers i have seen lately my favourites are the top of the line momsen/niner/specialized/cannondale flash/merida/scott.

I think i just named them all

Im beginning to think that a 29er would be a nice extra bike. One with XT or X9 just to go play with now and then

The 2012 American Classic Race wheels at 1 410 grams will be great value for money.

WOW ! Then the 26" model should weigh next to nothing

Seems that the 29er issue has become the most bespoketalked about matter among pedal pushers, with so many pro's and con's discussed (or argued) in every magazine, on the hub, and on rides. It is not the intention of this thread to start another 29er vs 26er debate, but to rather show those who are still contemplating the leap, our big wheels.

This is mine... a Spesh Stumpjumper S-Works.

There, fixed ;)
