MXkid77 Posted April 18, 2011 Share Aaron Gwin is chasing you towards Cloud 9 on Friday practice for the national.You share a 25 minute shuttle ride with a bunch of french dudes.All the girls are faster than you.There are 120 DH riders entered for the national.You don't mind walking around the pits in the pissing rain.There's a strange buzz in the air. MXkid77 Posted April 18, 2011 Share I know, the top half was a wreck, we eventually ended up racing the bottom half of the course for the national, as shuttling and getting the medics to the top half was a huge story. I found out after i almost killed myself entering the gully, tripoding it sideways approaching the jump, that they decided to cancel the race runs. Nice! To give you an indication of how bad the course conditions were, i did a 7:31 in my race run, and the previous dry regional race on the same bottom half course was a 3:25. My fun dial was below zero!
