Buy one for R50K and after two months when he decides he doesn't like MTB I will buy it for R30K!

Guys, we are in Cape Town, and it will only make sense to buy local.

He will fit a med. but the 29er concept is not for short / small riders i.m.o

What type of riding? Sani2 C, Epic, local mtb funrides.

Ok, the short list is: Scott spark 10 @ R49k

Is this the bike

No, he's not a pro rider, just want quality stuff and enjoy what he rides.

You could do that for R30k. So he wants to be a XC racing snake? How heavy is your buddy?

Ibis Mojo SL would be at the top of my list...

Giant Anthem 29er, under 30k, then new wheels and stuff, well below 50k!!!

Agreed +1

you might get the headset of an ibis mojo for 40k lol, Nope only two choices if you ask me, Morewood Zula or a Santa Cruze. Scot giant trek all fun but zula and santa be legend.

You should be able to slap one together for 50k i reckon, where is the crow, he'll know, but ja a zula(loving mine btw) or a santa cruz blur will be nice

if he wants more of a race bike them maybe the 96 carbon 3000 or the 96 team

or if he want more of a trail bike what about the 120 carbon 3000 or 4000?
