TNT1 Posted April 28, 2011 Share Perhaps they gave him a 1 year contract because they were unsure how he would perform, plus they knew Lance would retire and did not know what the sponsorship picture would look like for the team.Lance generated a lot of hype around the team, they are a bit out of sight presently, imo. Apart from all the Italians on an Irish team. Only concerning thing, is that it is basically the old LPR Brakes team, and they had quite a culture of doping with Di Luca et al... Utensilnord-Named (UCI team code: UNA) is a UCI Professional Continental cycling team, registered in Ireland. The team participates in UCI Continental Circuits races.
