That is real engineering! No computer - just build, make it fit, test, fix, test, etc

 

From what I recall (dodgy thing that) Porche basically took 2 of their 6 cylinder aircooled Boxers and bolted them together. To keep them cool they fitted 2 huge fans above to suck air through. Suddenly they had a car that weighed nothing with huge power behind it, and it went like the clappers. Safety was not even an afterthought.
