They're engravings, basically, a guy with a very sharp tungsten carbide chisel, a hammer and an incredibly steady hand, cuts the metal away (as you would do a wood-cut) to leave the image. Have you shot a suppressed .22?This is quieter and is .308.It was built for the SAS for short range shots and you actually hear the pin hit the case when you shoot.It's only accurate to about 300m with sub sonic ammo.
