Personally, I've decided not to call bikes "Purdey"! (Except for some truly great retros perhaps?)

Would prefer this AI Covert

I'll take a 12 bore 'Purdey' with Buck shot any day, 'AI Covert' is to much setup... :)

You are not allowed to put buck shot through a Purdey, it's just not Cricket old chap! ;)

Make sure that whatever you call "Purdey" is truly worthy!

Love the etchings of the grouse - just before they're blown to smithereens!

They're not etchings. They're engravings, basically, a guy with a very sharp tungsten carbide chisel, a hammer and an incredibly steady hand, cuts the metal away (as you would do a wood-cut) to leave the image. Here's another one. English Pointers, Diana the goddess of hunting, and grouse.

What's the thick tube? Suppressor?

Have you shot a suppressed .22?This is quieter and is .308.

It was built for the SAS for short range shots and you actually hear the pin hit the case when you shoot. It's only accurate to about 300m with sub sonic ammo.

They sell for about $11000
