I would have thought God would have rather said, Tony Hawk go forth and skate :drool:

If you believe that depeche mode song, I reckon God would said Natas Kaupas go forth and skate.

Funny you should say that. The guy responsible for that quote is Stacey Peralta, who put together the Bones Brigade, which included a young Tony Hawk.

Americans...the laziest of lazies, and clearly illiterate - neighbor's!

neighbor = American

neighbour = British

Same with color - colour and a few other words...

Both acceptable :thumbup:

i know, but which one is the older language?

Only Americans would change a language.

Also who has a world series, or world championship event where only American teams are present?

Boils down to being lazy. Dropping letters or using shorter ones to make writing the word easier

Tyre vs Tire...

America, the land of convenience!

Ja actually there's a bit of irony in critisizing the Yanks for being stooopid in having a "world" series when only they play, since it's technically correct....

Ja, freeking yanks, everything has always got to be different, bigger and better!

Sometimes it takes a minute or two to figure out what the hell they are on about.

Was watching a program on BBC Food and this american lady kept talking about pre-heating the "cooker" and what not to put the chicken in.

I was expecting her to stick the chicken in one of those gas braai with the lid ... only to find that she was talking about the oven the whole time!

Oh and while in NY my brother starts talking to this chick that has never left New York (clearly) in her whole life.

"So where are you from?"

"South-Africa"

"Yea, I havent been to Europe yet either"

The conversation kinda ended there!
