I was there last week.  Beautifull area that.  I was there in winter and now in summer.  Next round going there in Autums when the leaves look like this.  Just an hour drive from us.  Still want to do a bike ride to there.

This fearsome kick is known as a kin geri in Karate. I don't know the Tae Kwon Do term though.

 

Looking closer, it would appear that Red was going for a roundhouse kick to the head (Jodan mawashi geri) and the fearless Blue decided upon a rarely used, but much respected, groin block popularized by Master Ken, founder of Amerido.
